Kanye’s struggles during first Holiday season without his mother.
Kanye West has unveiled his plans for New Year’s eve and performing at a show is not one of them.
Avoiding media outlets and choosing to write in his blog, “If there’s any parties on New Years with my name on it, doooon’t youuuu belieeeeeve it,” Kanye wrote. “I’m staying at home for the first time in five years.”
The hiphop star performed 98 shows in 2008 and is expected to take a break on the New Years Eve holiday.
Supporters are concerned that Kanye was keeping a busy schedule to avoid dealing with the tragedy of his mothers death.
One source described Kanye as “distant” which is expected since this is his first Holiday season without his mother.
