KANYE WEST’s protege MR HUDSON had a steroid shot in the ass so he could take to the stage after falling ill.
The British singer, who is signed to West’s music label, has taken his native U.K. by storm, performing around the country with the Stronger hitmaker by his side.
And the musician couldn’t wait to perform in front of an American crowd in Los Angeles – but was left devastated when he woke up with a painful sore throat.
But Mr Hudson managed to keep to his schedule – and struggled through with the help of steroids.
He told the crowd at L.A.’s Troubadour venue on Monday, "I woke up with razor blades in my throat thinking this show wasn’t going to happen. But I went to see a guy in a white coat in Beverly Hills and here I am.
"I’ve dreamt of this for a long time. It’s just my luck to wake up ill…I had a shot in the ass of steroids to get through it."
