Outspoken rap star Kanye West admits he is deeply ashamed of his “spazz out” and immature moments.
Since threatening to boycott the Video Music Awards in 2007,the rapper has maintained an often immature and disrespectful attitude toward the media and some authority figures.
West now insists he has grown from his experience and regrets his actions, “That was completely immature and disrespectful and non-appreciative of what MTV did for me; MTV made me. I should never do anything to disrespect that… I sincerely apologize for that and I’ve grown from that,” said West.
In addition, the rapper insists he will change his public image, “I’m embarrassed by some of the things I say. It’s one thing to be confident, it’s another thing to just be completely a spoiled brat.”
We’re not sure if Kanye recently took classes in public relations or if he really is sincere…but it’s definitely a step in the right direction.
