Mariah Carey still pissy about inauguration tickets
Singer Mariah Carey pulls diva stunt at inauguration after getting upset with seating.
Initially several rumors claimed that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon were unable to attain assigned seats on the National Mall for the inauguration and therefore elected not to attend.
Over the weekend, however, reports surfaced that not only were the Cannons seated in the VIP section on Tuesday, but Mariah was apparently “Pissed” that organizers didn’t put her on the actual stage alongside Aretha Franklin.
Several sources confirm, “Mariah was in the VIP area, where every celebrity, like Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys and Bruce Springsteen, was seated. But felt disrespected because she wanted to be on stage with the first family. When she realized she wasn’t, she bailed.”
We aren’t 100% on the details from that afternoon, but we do know the celebrity couple did show up, but left abruptly before the ceremony began and witnesses claim the singer was visibly upset.
