Marlon Wayans

Marlon Wayans will play a man who attempts to spend one year following the Bible’s every word in his next film, "The Year of Living Biblically."

The project is based on A.J. Jacobs’ nonfiction best-seller – subtitled "One Man’s Humble Quest to Follow the Bible as Literally as Possible."

The author spent 12 months trying to live by the rules of the Old and New Testaments, with comic and enlightening results.

Wayans will star in and produce the film, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Julian Farino (HBO’s "Entourage") will direct, and Jay Reiss wrote the script.

In the meantime, Wayans stars in two Paramount summer releases: "Dance Flick," which he also co-wrote and produced, is due in theaters May 22,

That’s such an original idea.  Hmmm…maybe we all should live by the Bible everyday.
