Rihanna fans stage anti-Chris Brown protest rally
Friday the 13th is going to be a tough day for troubled R&B star Chris Brown.
Thousands of angry Rihanna fans are staging a huge protest in New York, where Chris Brown’s posters will be ripped up and CDs shredded.
After Rihanna supporters voiced their anger with Brown alleged abuse of his girlfriend, WBLI radio station in New York decided to sponsor the event.
Said the stations operations manager, “Valentine’s Day should stand for love, so we find it fitting to make the Friday the 13th a day for revenge for those who were unlucky in love.”
The New York protest will begin on Friday morning outside the radio station’s studios in West Babylon, New York.
Needless to say neither Brown nor Rihanna will be attending the rally as Brown is reportedly missing in action after sneaking out of a Las Vegas hotel and Rihanna is making plans to recover in Barbados with family and friends.
Is this a hate-fest or a therapeutic event for Rihanna fans and women who have been abused?

We’re against men that lay their hands on women. no mater the circumstance we are sick of hearing about woman that are brutalized by men and the cops do nothing to help them. On February 16, 2009 at 8:33 amWhen did hate and hate ever make sense? Destroying, or ripping up posters and stuff is foolish. No, I’m not at all OK with what Chris Brown did. I think he will be dealt with by the law and by the Lord. And I definitely think women need to use this incident as a lesson learned and stand up. But to protest and bash Chris Brown is dumb. What good will it do? I think the only to fix things like this is to apply love… that’s what Jesus would do. So to me the people who go out and act foolish are just as bad as Chris Brown… we have to come together, get these sort of men help, and pray… I love this quote and I’ll share it with you ceecee, “If love comes from the heart, then where does hate come from?”

Woman to woman, I DO NOT condone a man putting his hands on a woman but Rihanna HAS TO and any other woman HAS TO take responsibility for her actions. If a woman put her hands on a man it’s wrong no matter how you look at it. Yes, a man is stronger so like I tell my son, if a girl hits you, you better not hit her BACK, I have told him to HOLD her until someone can grab her or PUSH her off him and WALK AWAY. I was in an abusive relationship for a couple of years, and I never once hit him first, I was always defending myself. I would never put my hands on a man first because I know that there is a possibility that I’m gonna get my *** beat. Besides you and this group is promoting hate there is always a better way to go about things. And if you really think about it ya’ll ARE NOT hurting Chris Brown ya’ll are giving him ya’lls money by buying his poster to tear them up and buying his CD’s to break them up. Yes as women we need to come together helping women who are getting abused, I am down for that peacefully. As women we also need to talk to our sisters about putting their hands on a man also, just as a man should walk away when he is angry so should a woman. So, my sister, ya’ll are along the path of a great idea, maybe, just maybe as women instead of making that left turn down hatred we should make that right turn down peace lane and come together as women againts abuse from men and how to prevent abuse also.

On March 8, 2009 at 4:26 pmlol i dont really know how to take this frankly i this might be theraputic for women who have been abused to be able to voice their anger at Chris (who i have no sympathy for whatsoever) so ya i think that its a pretty good idea as long as this pissed of women dont go and hurt somebody (wouldnt it suck if chris was in New York and his limo accidentatlly drove near the rally and someone spotted him??) LOL !!!!! ahahhahaah (but of course i woudlnt want him to get hurt….that badly lol)
