RIHANNA has canceled her planned comeback concert in Dubai this month , citing "bad timing".
The Umbrella hitmaker was due to return to the public eye with her first gig since her alleged altercation with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in February.
But the singer has pulled out of the engagement, according to show organizers Vibe Event Management.
Managing director Yassin Matbouly says, "We want to share with you that Rihanna and her management will not be accepting to hold a public concert at this time as it is not appropriate timing for her."
Rihanna has not performed since late January – 10 days before she was reportedly beaten during a fight with Brown on the eve of the Grammy Awards.
She scrapped concerts in Malaysia and Indonesia shortly after the incident with Brown.
