Tragic football star STEVE MCNAIR filmed a public service announcement about youth suicide before becoming the victim of a murder-suicide himself.
The former Tennessee Titans quarterback shot the ad with Tennessee’s Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities, but it will never be aired after MCNair’s girlfriend Sahel Kazemi shot him and then herself last week.
Department spokeswoman Jill Hudson says, "It never reached the point of being aired. And it seems broadcasting it now is not only inappropriate, but doesn’t serve the community, his family or memory – or the issue we hoped the PSA would help address."
Officials confiscated the commercial from all website after it was apparently leaked on the internet shortly following the football star’s funeral.
