Boxing champ EVANDER HOLYFIELD has locked horns with his ex-wife in a legal battle over child support payments.
The former heavyweight champion of the world wants a judge to scale down the sum he pays Janice Itson – the mother of one of his eleven children – because he’s poorer than he was when they divorced in 2000.
According to TMZ.com, Holyfield filed documents in Cobb County Superior Court in Georgia last week (ends22Jan10), asking for his agreement with Itson to be modified, because his "income has decreased". The fighter also cites other children "for whom he is also responsible to support".
