Knock-off computers…

Posted April 22, 2008 by JJSaidIt Staff

You gotta’ love this. There are knock-off brands of everything from shoes to purses to cologne so it’s about time somebody made a knock-off brand of computers.

The costly yet wildly popular Macintosh brand of computers has a direct knock-off brand competitor who claims to sell the same product at a quarter of the costs.

Of course I’m always weary when something sounds too good to be true because often times you get what you pay for.

I’m just curious…Do you think we can get’em at the flea market?

Our police…

Posted April 21, 2008 by JJSaidIt Staff

The ugly head of racism always seems to rise and remind us that it still exists. Usually when you see a photo like the one above, you think of non-contributing members of society that are lost in the backwoods of some unknown town.

This time it’s actually police officers from Ohio. I guess they’re not talking to me when they say, “to serve and protect”!

Worst yet, the officers weren’t fired because they claim it was a joke…am I the only one not laughing?

Go Stacey…

Remember her? Yep, that’s Stacey Dash, the girl from Clueless. Believe it or not, she recently turned 42 years old.

I guess “40″ is the new “30″….for some people!

Girl power…

This weekend Danica Patrick became the first woman ever to win a major auto race as she crossed the finish line of the Indy Car Series event in Motegi, Japan. I love to see people overcome obstacles and break stereotypes to reach their goal or purpose in life.

Some participants in the race tried to downplay the historic win, as if it was just another race. Honestly, I think their mad because they got beat by a girl.

Miss Rap Supreme…

VH1’s new reality show, Ego Trip’s Miss Rap Supreme, is the networks latest attempt to capitalize on the music reality-show craze that has swept through TV land. However, unlike American Idol or Making the Band, I think the producers purposely picked the least talented and most controversial contestants to be on the show.

I don’t mind the producers attempting to “spice up” the show with controversy or create an entertaining environment, but ultimately talent has to come into the equation and on this show; 2 + 2 = terrible.

Yuck….

Occasionally I like to post videos of extreme stupidity just to make me feel smarter, but I think this actually killed some of my brain cells. For the record, that is a public bathroom in the video.

Go ahead and click on the image…you know we love to watch stupid people.

Caption this…

“It’s gotta’ be the shoes”……..Ok that was the best caption I could come up with now it’s your turn.

Post your caption for this picture.

Money hungry…

Heather Mills, the woman who was awarded $50 million in her divorce settlement from ex-Beatle Paul McCartney, was spotted flirting with multi-millionaire Donald Trump at dinner.

Now I ain’t saying she’s gold digger….

Carmelo…

Posted by JJSaidIt Staff

Earlier this week Carmello Anthony, the All-Star forward for the Denver Nuggets, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. The 23-year-old multi-millionaire has had his brush with incidents that have caused me to question his character.

We overlooked it when Carmelo made a cameo appearance in a gang video that talked about killing “snitches”. We believed him when authorities found weed in his luggage at the airport and he said it didn’t belong to him. We forgave him when he got into a fist-to-fist brawl during a New York Knicks basketball game.

Now he has done it again. I don’t know about you, but I’m starting to see a pattern. I think he has earned a new nickname and from now on, I’m going to call him “Can’t Get Right”

X-Files

Posted April 17, 2008 by JJSaidIt Staff

The “X-Files” TV series is one of my all-time favorite shows. I still record old episodes and watch them whenever I have time. Ok, that’s probably too much information and you’re probably wondering why I posted this article. Well, I’ve always wondered about extraterrestrial beings and their existence. Part of me always wanted to believe they exist. Ironically, the title of the new X-Files movie is “I Want to Believe”

So let’s assume that aliens are discovered today, “What would be the impact on our cultural makeup.” When you look at every culture around the world almost each one has a religious component to it and I would guess that most of them don’t account for aliens from other planets.

Would this debunk the “7 day theory” in the Book of Genesis? Would the church accept the aliens and try to convert them? I personally think Holy Hell would break loose and ET would probably be phoning home very soon because we, as humans, have a tendency to go to war with things we don’t understand.

Let me know what you think
