Troubled hip-hop producer SCOTT STORCH has pleaded not guilty to motor vehicle theft after allegedly failing to return a leased Bentley on time.
The Miami, Florida-based beatmaker reportedly sent executives at a local car leasing company on a seven-month search for the luxury vehicle after the lease expired and he failed to hand over the keys.
According to TMZ.com, Storch, who has put together hits for artists including Dr. Dre and The Game, entered his plea in Florida’s Broward County Court on Friday.
It’s the latest in a long line of legal troubles for the star – last summer (08), Storch was reported to owe over $500,000 in late property taxes, and a warrant was issued for his arrest after he failed to show up to court in relation to missed child support payments. His attorney has since blamed his monetary problems on a "mismanagement" of his finances.
