Suge Knight is facing criminal charges in Las Vegas, stemming from an incident in which police found the hip hop mogul allegedly beating his girlfriend.

 

Knight is charged with two counts of felony drug possession and one count of misdemeanor battery after beating the woman while holding a knife in a parking lot near the Las Vegas Strip.

 

The woman wasn’t stabbed, but was treated at a hospital for injuries and Knight was carrying Ecstasy when they arrested him.

 

I ain’t even gone comment on this one…I saw what happened to Tupac.

 

 

 

T.I. is expected to testify in a Cincinnati court Wednesday about the events that took place on the night his close friend and assistant, Philant Johnson, was murdered.

 

A jury was chosen on Monday in the case against one of two brothers allegedly responsible for Johnson’s death.

 

Tuesday the jury visited the crime scene and opening statements were given in court for the murder of Johnson back in May 2006.

 

Murder and hip-hop…always a sad combination. 

 

 

 

During a recent press conference 50 Cent took time out to address why his new album was pushed back to 2009.

 

“I decided to push the record back because I have so much more that I want to offer the public as a part of my presentation before I get to actually releasing it,” 50 said.

“Man…I can’t release my album because I’m scared no one will buy it and then my career will officially be over.  So instead, I’ll just keep pushing back my album release date.”

Kanye denies assaulting a photographer in a “bogus” incident outside a Newcastle, England, bar that led to his second paparazzi-related arrest in less than a month.

 

Here’s his excuse this time:

 

“When I left the club,” he writes in his blog, “I was encountered by a thirsty paparazzi as usual. He felt he had more rights to my space than me, so I put my hand up to prevent him from taking my image. I didn’t assault him.”
