Republican hates Michael Jackson
The Republican Congressman who took aim at MICHAEL JACKSON surrounding the King of Pop’s death has vowed to fight plans to honor the pop star as an official American legend.
Texas Democrat Sheila Jackson Lee represented Congress and the U.S. Black Caucus at the Jackson memorial on Tuesday and announced she’d be spearheading a motion at the House of Representatives to declare the late star "an American legend and musical icon and a world humanitarian".
Lee also showed off a framed copy of the resolution, which will be debated.
But Republican Peter King, who dubbed Jackson a "pervert, child molester, pedophile" in a recent interview, insists he plans to oppose the resolution, stating he’ll do "whatever I have to do".
The Congressman is said to be drafting a letter to President Obama protesting the Congressional award for Jackson, further declaring “He does not represent the best of America”.
