Iranian officials seek to ban the Barbie doll, Spiderman, Harry Potter, Batman and other Western toys citing them as “destructive” and a “danger” to the cultural balance of their community.

Hmmm…I guess they would rather have their kids learn how to become suicide bomber.

Wow… I alrady know that Optimistic person is gone act a fool when they read this. This is crazy. At least Ken and Barbie teach us about relationships and stuff. I can see why they don’t want Harry Potter, I don’t let my lil’ bro watch that either.
But for real they just don’t want America taking over thier kids cuz kids are the future. Instead they want they kids worshiping Allah and dying for they people.

Naw, I said naw… I’m not about to act a fool. God doesn’t want me to today. But this is ridiculous.
Guess they’re afraid that playing with Western style toys will lead to western style beliefs. I can see the children now, “In God we trust, not allah”. This is ludacris. It’s insane. Banning toys, well unless China put led in them.
Now I understand what’s wrong with that country. I’d probably blow up plans, kill myself, blow up stuff and all of the above if I had my childhood depicted like they do. Po’ babies… maybe they’ll come up with a little Saddaam Hussein toy and that’ll be a hit. I’m going to continue to pray for that country as I pray for this country as well. If they’re banning toys, what will be next?

WOW! A bomb staped to a little kids body! his parents probably don’t like that kids. i see why they want to bann those toys, but who’s to say… those toys might be regular. they might be taking away toys from inocent children… and they don’t even know it.
Well, i know the americans are not so happy with the toys being banned. But i bet they will do it anyway. they need undercover “agents” to surprise the enemy. but i think that they should be more carful with the children and “if they are doing that” thay should strap the bombs on the adults. KIDS ARE THE FUTURE!!!

This picture is troubling. Who knows what their real motives are for banning those toys. But if they’re really acting on the preservation of their culture there’s nothing wrong with that. The culture on my homeland is well preserved and it’s because our government & community leaders do what they believe is sensibly beneficial for our way of life. America has already intervened when Bush “suspected” the building of atomic bombs in Iran; must we intervene because they don’t like our toys too?
