Tyler Perry is island shopping…are you serious
Movie mogul Tyler Perry, who turns 40 in September, plans to purchase his own tropical paradise.
“I’m a loner by nature, so when I’m out there on these islands, I just feel like the only person in the world,” says Perry, whose latest film, Madea Goes to Jail, grossed $41 million its opening weekend.
Perry, who recently spent a week vacationing on a private island in the Great Exumas in the Bahamas, admits his island idea isn’t entirely about relaxation saying, “Having an island is the best place for me to work uninterrupted.”
Of course we salute Perry for his success, but the fact that he’s even considering purchasing his own private island is unbelievable.
That type of money is staggering, no wonder young inner-city kids are willing to forgo every other opportunity for a shot at the entertainment industry.
As Tupac would say, “I ain’t mad at cha.”
