Miley Cyrus, the star of the Disney’s Hannah Montana show, has apologized for semi-nude pictures that will appear in an upcoming issue of Vanity Fair magazine. According to Miley, “”I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed.”

I have hope that she is not the next Britney, Paris or Lindsay because I’ve seen interviews with her and she seems to have a descent head on her shoulders. My concern is with her parents.

Some type of warning light should have gone off in her parents’ head when they were asked to allow their 15-year-old daughter to take her bra off for a photo shoot.

I’ve had a chance to see the controversial photo, and it’s definitely not as bad as the media attention it’s garnering, but you can’t escape the fact that she only 15 years old.

A Marilyn Monroe sex tape sold for $1.5 million to a wealthy New York business executive. Wow, that is crazy! I know this may sound stupid, but I did not even think they had home video cameras back then.

The unnamed business executive who bought the 15-minute black and white video claims that he bought it to make sure it does not fall in the wrong hands. Yea right, I am sure his wife believes that.

Ok so now that we know Paris, Lindsay, Eve, Kim Kardashian, R. Kelly, and every other celebrity, were not the first to “get down” on camera. I am starting to think that sex tapes may be the next wave of brand development since the porn industry is a multi-billion dollar industry.

I can easily foresee the day when you will be able to download your favorite artist’s sex tape just like you can download an iTunes song……..out of curiosity, who do you think would go platinum?
