Rapper DMX is causing trouble behind bars after allegedly attacking a prison officer.

 

The rapper was only expected to serve 90 days in jail, plus an additional 18 months of supervised probation and now he’s potentially looking at a felony assault charge.

 

Damn…that’s all I got to say about that.

DMX is back in an Arizona jail today after he was extradited from Miami to Phoenix Friday to face a number of charges. 

 

A bench warrant was issued for his arrest earlier this month after he missed a scheduled court appearance for animal cruelty, drug possession, and ID theft. 

 

Shortly after his arrival in Phoenix, reports began to surface that DMX became “emotionally unstable” and was placed on 24hr suicide watch.

 

 

 

DMX was back in a Miami jail this week after the feds arrested him at the home of super hip-hop producer Scott Storch.

 

X was picked up for missing a Dec. 5 court date in Phoenix, as a woman in Georgia tipped off the Sheriff’s office to his whereabouts after hearing there was a $5,000 reward.

 

Rumor has it that Scott Storch may be facing charges as well for aiding a known fugitive. 

 

 

 

 

The cycle of court no-shows continued for rapper DMX. Another bench warrant was issued after he failed to show up for a hearing last Friday morning.

 

DMX’s attorney, said his client wasn’t present because he is currently at an undisclosed rehab facility. The Judge has now raised DMX’s bond to $120,000 cash.      

 

I hate to see him struggling like that, but hopefully he really is at a rehab facility.
