A fire broke out at the South Side Chicago home of U. S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. early Wednesday.

A spokesman for Jesse Jackson Jr. says the congressman has been an informant for the U.S. attorney’s office in Illinois for at least 10 years, and has relayed information about Gov. Rod Blagojevich since 2006.

 

Jesse Jr. has reportedly snitched on dozens of congressmen and even gave damaging confessions to the FBI against his father, Jesse Jackson Sr.
