Chris Brown says…’I am not engaged’
R&B singer fights ongoing rumors or engagement.
Rihanna recently fueled speculation that she is engaged to star Chris Brown, by sporting a huge bling on her ring finger.
Friends of Brown spoke with him over the holidays and admitted, “Chris brought her (Rhianna) home for the holidays to get his mother’s approval before it gets to serious”.
Apparently the ring is less of an engagement ring and more of a promise ring, “He told me…’I am not engaged’, but that’s mainly because his Mom thinks he should just wait”.
Brown’s mother has been openly vocal about young stars getting married and having babies just because it’s the “cool thing to do”.
Nevertheless, Brown reportedly did give the $500K “promise ring” to Rihanna as a token of commitment and affection.
