John Legend…is he boring or truly a legend
Just about every music critic has co-signed on John Legend’s singing ability, but recently a Dallas magazine stated that he is “too boring to be great and to bland to be bad; just luke warm”.
Although his upbeat single featuring Andre 3000 has done well on the radio, some still place Legend in the “boring” category. Let us know what you think after watching his new video.

I couldn’t imagine listening to an entire album from him… nor can I handle hearing him on too many features… I think he’s good for like bars and really laid back restaurants that have music…

On January 22, 2009 at 1:46 pmI’m going to put John Legend in the great category not, only because I’m a fan of his voice but if you listen to the actual lyrics his songs they are awesome. Plus he writes mostly all of his own music (everything: lyrics, piano, drums etc…), which is a lost art in music today. Granted John Legend in large doses can be fairly dull overtime, but that happens with any artist. I think that he maybe one of those artists that just won’t be fully appreciated until after his time. Peace.
