Tiger gets hit again
This time he was hit where it hurts the most…in his wallet.
AT&T has become the latest company to drop sponsorship of Tiger Woods.
In a brief statement issued early today (Thursday), the company said only, "We are ending our sponsorship agreement with Tiger Woods and wish him well in the future."
AT&T’s logo appears on Woods’s golf bag and the golfer has hosted the AT&T National PGA Tour since 2007.
AT&T’s decision follows that of Accenture and Gillette.
And the Tag Heuer watch company has said it plans to "downscale" its use of the scandal-plagued Woods in its ad campaigns.
