Foxy Brown accused faking her hearing loss
Rapper Foxy Brown cuffed and accused of not really being deaf during a court appearance.
Rapper Foxy Brown was berated by Judge Melissa Jackson, because she reportedly “showed disrespect to the court”.
Judge Jackson was said to seem frustrated throughout the hearing as she griped to the rapper’s lawyer, “Counsel, she has gum in her mouth.” Brown’s attorney denied his client was chewing gum, and tried to explain that the rapper could not understand her due to recent hearing loss.
The judge went on to accuse Foxy Brown of not really being deaf despite medical reports showing the rapper is officially hearing impaired. According to witnesses, the judge shouted at an officer to “hit her” when she resisted being handcuffed due to the bangles on her hand getting in the way.
Several civil rights activist described the judge’s actions as racist, and are looking to have the judge reprimanded. Foxy Brown, who’s real name is Inga Marchand, was reportedly handcuffed to the defendants bench during the entire court hearing and ordered not to speak.
