Jay-Z’s effort to purchase tell-all documentary rejected
Former employee turns down multi-million dollar offer.
A former employee of Roc-A-Fella records is coming out with a tell-all documentary about the downfall of the label.
The employee, who’s name is “Choke No Joke”, includes plenty of juicy stories documenting the infighting and contentious relationship between former business partners Jay-Z and Damon Dash
Reportedly, Choke No Joke turned down a $3 million dollar offer from Jay-Z to purchase the rights to the documentary. Apparently, Jay-Z wanted to prevent any “negative energy” from coming into his life.
The documentary harshly criticizes Damon Dash as well, “Dame was a camera freak. He loved people to tape him, ’cause he started thinking he was a star . . . Ever since the ‘Big Pimpin’ video, he started gettin’ a little light and it started to get to his head.”
Hop hop junkies have already pre-ordered the documentary as many critics believe “Jay-Z is trying to hide something”.
