Jordan rejects Kanye West
KANYE WEST was reportedly rejected by Nike Air Jordans, after requesting to design a shoe for the sports brand.
Kanye has already linked up with Louis Vuitton and Nike to create two different sneaker lines and he was rumored to be expanding on his shoe deals by teaming up with Air Jordan bosses.
But West’s hopes were shot down after Jordan executives balked at the idea.
Kanye’s says, "I love Nike and I loved creating with them but there hasn’t been a convo with Brand Jordan… Nike and Brand Jordan are two different companies."
Michael Jordan is said to be a fan of West’s music, but rejects the idea of the hip hop star designing sports shoes for his brand.
