Martin Lawrence is back in court
Actor Martin Lawrence returns to a California court room but this time for a different reason.
We often give Martin Lawrence such a hard time, but this time he’s in court for all the right reasons…he’s on jury duty.
It sounds like a movie script but Lawrence could actually be in charge of somebody else’s fate!
The actor is reporting for jury duty at an LA court, and the outcome of the court case could determine if a man goes to prison.
Said a spokesman for Lawrence, “He’s taking his civil obligation serious. He feels like it’s his right and obligation as a citizen to vote and to serve on jury duty.”
It’s always good to see a black man in court for the right reasons.
