Nelly’s home-boy killed
Rapper NELLY’s ST. LUNATICS crew is in mourning after group associate ORTEGA ‘TEGA’ HENDERSON died from bullet wounds sustained in a recent shooting incident.
The aspiring MC, 25, died last week - 11 days after he was rushed to intensive care at a Missouri hospital following the shooting tragedy.
St. Lunatics member Kyjuan Cleveland has blamed Henderson’s struggle to leave his life on the streets behind him to embark on a career in music for his untimely death.
Cleveland says, "He got mixed up in the streets, but he was so talented, we thought we could pull him out of it. He was on the right path for a minute, but times are hard and he started getting around the wrong people."
A funeral service for Henderson is due to be held on Thursday.
