Usher should be ashamed of himself
On Tuesday, we applauded Usher for criticizing Chris Brown and Wednesday he retracted his statement…coward!
Usher spoke boldly against Chris Brown after he was pictured vacationing on a jet ski less than three weeks following the alleged assault against Rihanna.
Said Usher, “I’m a little disappointed in this photo,” Usher said. “Come on Chris, have a little bit of remorse man.” But now he’s taking his comments back!
According to the ‘take back’ statement Usher’s camp issued:
“The comments made during a recent recording session amongst friends were taken out of context and blown out of proportion. I apologize on behalf of myself and my friends if anyone was offended.”
There seems to be an unwritten rule that celebrities can’t criticize celebrities, at least not in public. We were glad to see Usher speak his mind and be a voice for those who believe Brown is arrogant and showing very little remorse.
We can no longer count on celebrities to be the voice of the people because their to busy protecting their own interest. Usher is a coward for not standing up for his own comments…and we won’t be retracting our statement.
