Kelly Rowland ‘hated on’ for doing a good thing

Kelly Rowland

R&B singer Kelly Rowland helped to make a sick girl’s birthday wishes come true but still got criticized.

The Dilemma hitmaker paid leukaemia sufferer Jasmina Anema a visit last week to surprise the youngster with presents and cupcakes for her sixth birthday.

Anema has a rare and fatal form of the disease, and her only hope of survival is finding a bone marrow transplant.

And Rowland admits the experience was so moving, she’s signed up to the national bone marrow registry herself.

Describing her day at Anema’s side, Rowland tells a national magazine, “The best part was decorating the cupcakes with her.”

Of course no good deed goes unpunished and several parents and hospital staff were reportedly upset at the singer for only visiting one patient even though several kids requested to see her.

We applaud Kelly’s effort…unfortunately she can’t be everything to everybody.
